Sold in Medion computers, with specifictions between a 9800 Pro and an 9800 XT
The Radeon 9800 XXL is based on the ATi R360 core found in the Radeon 9800 XT and some versions of the 9800 Pro. While retaining the full R360 core with a 256bit memory bus, the card was only fitted with 128MB of memory. The core clock speeds of the 9800 XXL is higher than a 9800 Pro but lower than a 9800 XT while the memory speed remains essentially the same as a "pro" version. This card was only sold in pre-built Medion/Lifetec branded PCs, notably the "Medion TITANIUM MD 8083" sold by ALDI, the German discount supermarket chains, in certain european countries. The Radeon 9800 XXL was built for Medion by MSI and share the same overall design as their "MSI RX9800Pro Plus-TD128" while having different specifications (clock speed, no TV-out)
